IFC To Sue IFC

As the twists and turns of the abortive one billion dollar International Financial CONSORTIUM (IFC) loan makes the headlines among both media and civil society, the International Finance CORPORATION (IFC) of the World Bank seems to be providing some solutions to their own jig-saw puzzle. The Corporation says it is on a brink of instituting a writ against the other IFC (the consortium).

Vice President of the World Bank IFC, Peter Woicke referred to the operations of the Consortium in the Punjab, India and also in South Africa where they claimed association with the World Bank and the United Nations using the acronym IFC.
