Maverick Kumasi-based serial caller of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Frank Appiah affectionately called Appiah Stadium has revealed that he owes much of his life to former President John Dramani Mahama.

He indicates that but for the intervention of the former president, he would still have been single with no child indicating that the president did a lot in transforming his life.

“If not for John Mahama, I would have no kid to call me father. He isn’t a herbalist or a pregnancy specialist but NPP activists humiliated me on air concerning the then barrenness of my wife…,”

“It was John Mahama who assigned a special doctor to examine her and after she conceived more than once…If John Mahama doesn’t come back, I will organize some people so we go and bring him back to contest against the NPP party. John Mahama must be respected…” he disclosed on Accra-based Fm.

Appiah Stadium has recently accused members of the NDC of trying to sabotage the return of former president John Dramani Mahama as the party’s flagbearer for 2020.

He was also reported to have claimed that former Communications Director at the Presidency, Koku Anyidoho took advantage of the ill health of the late President John Evans Atta Mills to sign fraudulent documents.

A livid Appiah Stadium threatened to expose the details of the shoddy deals if Mr Anyidoho dares him.

He wondered why Koku Anyidoho would work against the former President John Dramani Mahama’s bid to lead the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in 2020 elections.

His comments come on the back of NDC’s Member of Parliament (MP) for Yunyoo constituency, Joseph Naabu who has chastised the former President John Dramani Mahama of being the cause of the party’s defeat in 2016 elections saying he is not the best bet for the party in 2020.
