"I will fulfil all my promises"- says Nana

Yendi (N/R), Nov. 24, GNA - Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has pledged to fulfil all his campaign promises if elected president. "I have too much respect for the people of Ghana to make promises to them, that I cannot fulfil," he said.

Nana Akufo Addo made the pledge when he paid separate courtesy calls on the Kampakuyina Yakubu Andani Abdulai, Regent of Dagbon and the Boli-Lana Abdulai Mohammed at their palaces in Yendi on Friday. Nana Akufo Addo made the pledge when the Kampakuyina Abdulai cautioned him against making promises he could not fulfil. The NPP flag bearer was accompanied by Mr Mahamudu Bawumia, his running mate and some leading members of the party including; Mr Jake O. Lamptey, Ms Gloria Akufo, Mr Yaw Osarfo Marfo, Alan Keyeremanten and Alhaji Malik Yakubu, MP for Yendi.

Nana Akufo Addo recounted the sad events that led to the death of the overlord of Dagbon, Yakubu Adani II, and hoped that all outstanding matters related to the Dagbon Chieftaincy crises would soon be resolved to bring lasting peace to Dagbon and the country as a whole.
