I want to listen to Tsatsu Tsikata before I die – Lawyer Amaliba

A member of the National Democratic Congress legal team Abraham Amaliba has showered praises on Tsatsu Tsikata, declaring that his soul would be satisfied if after listening to the legal luminary, God calls him unto eternal glory.

Though one might deem it as an outrageous comment to make since most human beings fear death, Mr. Amaliba was emphatic on Okay FM that it is simply a blessing for any practicing lawyer to have the opportunity of studying under the guidance of an outstanding lawyer like Mr. Tsikata.

Mr. Tsikata is in court as counsel for NDC in the electoral dispute challenging the legitimacy of President Mahama. Even though he is yet to cross-examine Dr. Bawumia who is the second petitioner, Lawyer Amaliba doffed his hat of for the legal luminary, asserting that he has what it takes as a lawyer to punch holes into the petitioner’s claim.

“What excites me most is that whenever Tsatsu makes an attempt to talk in court, the sound of a pin can be clearly heard should someone drop it.

"Even his haters know he is intelligent and it is a foregone conclusion everyone is waiting for him to conduct his cross-examination.

“I was interacting with a colleague of mine and I made it known to him that should I die after I have listened to Tsatsu, I would be glad," he said.
