I’ve started 'receiving NPP girls’, your loss is sure – Joshua Akamba to Akufo-Addo

The National Organiser for National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joshua Hamidu Akamba, is confident the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) will lose the polls in the upcoming general elections.

The numbers and readiness of the Ghanaian populace to invite back the NDC they said, is enough proof that they have had enough of the current administration and need saving. Even more is the willingness of some ‘NPP girls’ to join the NDC ahead of the 2020 polls, he claimed.

Hundreds of party fanatics and residents joined the National Organiser, Joshua Akamba and the NDC’s Parliamentary candidate for the area for a walk Friday.

Addressing the media during the walk, Mr. Akamba said, “If you look at it, we didn’t give anyone a bus to come, everybody came on their own, and if they have all gathered here. You see the crowd, it should tell you, I just received about 5 NPP girls. There’s a PPP communicator, a parliamentary candidate who even turns out to be one of my advisors. That should tell you that the NPP has lost it. That should tell you that the NPP has lost it.”

The outspoken NDC member also noted how recent happenings in government which have subsequently affected the citizenry is enough evidence that the lies of the NPP have been exposed.



“The lies of the NPP are over. You cannot keep lying to a woman thinking that the woman will keep believing you.

They have lied and lied and today people have seen that everything they said were lies. When we were moving along the street, you saw the enthusiasm, you saw the way people were waving, people were doing the sign of change. It should tell you, when the ruling party is losing, that’s how it is”.
