I'm the 'Moses' of NPP – Chairman Wontumi

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, affectionately called “Chairman Wontumi,” has likened himself to the Biblical Israelite leader, Moses, who delivered the Nation out of captivity from Egypt, saying he (Wontumi) has also been saving the Ashanti from defeat in previous elections.

Addressing delegates within the Ahafo Ano South, Ahafo Ano South East and Ahafo Ano North constituencies Wednesday ahead of the party regional elections scheduled for April, Chairman Wontumi, said he deeply loves the party and will always strive for victory in any electoral contest.

He pleaded with the delegates to retain him as the NPP Regional chairman to ensure the party does not lose power in the 2020 elections.

The Member of Parliament for Ahafo Ano South constituency, Adu Johnson asked the delegates to retain Wontumi “to continue with his good works for the party”

Meanwhile, the three constituencies have endorsed Chairman Wontumi, promising him 98% of their votes.
