I’ll forever miss you – Mahama mourns mother

President John Dramani Mahama in mourning the death of his mother Wednesday said the memories of her gentle soul will linger even after passing on.

In a tweet to express his grief following the death of his mum, President Mahama said:

Abiba Nnaba Mahama, mother of the President, died Wednesday dawn.

She reportedly died at the SSNIT Hospital in Accra after a protracted ailment.

The late Nnaba Mahama is said to be a devout Muslim and hence will be buried later today in line with Islamic tradition, reports say.
