I lack information about jobs created so far - Akufo-Addo

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has stated that he is unaware of the number of jobs his government has created one year after they assumed power.

President Akufo- Addo during an interaction with journalists today at the FlagStaff House to deliberate on issues and happening during his one year reign said he lacks statistical information about jobs created so far by his government.

According to him, the statistics on job created by his government are currently being collated, therefore he will be able to comment effectively on the matter in two to three months time.

‘The statistics on the jobs created, let’s not forget, I’m barely one year in office, some of these statistics are being collected as we speak now, so the labour statistics as to the number of jobs that is being created, those are not statistics I have had in any way, even for the government I believe that they are in the process of being assembled, so perhaps, in two to three months time, we will be able to answer that question in a more effective manner,’ he explained.

President Akufo-Addo who was sworn into the highest office of the land on January 7, 2017 met with the media today January 17, 2018 at the Flagstaff house to discuss and answer questions on happenings of the government under a year.
