The Member of Parliament for the North Tongu constituency, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, wants the general public to be wary of impostors who have created social media handles in his name to swindle people.

The North Tongu lawmaker claimed he’s off late inundated with reports across the country of how unsuspecting persons have been duped by fraudsters posing as him on Facebook.

“I do not offer ‘protocol’ jobs neither do I ever demand money to assist anyone, no matter the circumstances,” Mr Ablakwa said in a Facebook post.

He stressed: “I am only and strictly a Member of Parliament; NOT a Visa Contractor; NOT a ‘Protocol’ Facilitator; NOT a Recruitment Agent; NOT a Middleman to any institution whatsoever!”.
