Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong, has gone berserk threatening to expose any individual who will try to discredit him over his quest to expose Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

The maverick politician says he will use any information available to him, to expose even his New Patriotic Party (NPP) members if they come his way as he tries to expose those he refers to as corrupt journalists''.

An interview on Accra based Asempa FM from China where the MP is on a business trip, Kennedy Agyapong said, he has always being accused of trading in cocaine but he wants his accusers to bring fresh information about him to the public because the tag of him dealing in cocaine, is nothing new.

‘’If you have any new information about me, bring it out. Because accusing me of trading in cocaine is nothing new. So bring any information about me out before I will start exposing your dirty secrets.

From where the story is is unfolding, anybody who will try to discredit me in my quest to expose all the corrupt journalists, if I have got any information about you; I respect the NPP but no NPP member can stop me from exposing evil, corrupt journalists that are parading all over the country as if they are honest.’’ Kennedy Agyapong has also threatened some five journalists who he noted are corrupt journalists and being bought houses to push an agenda for some people.

He was reacting to the suit filed against him by Anas Aremeyaw Anas who is demanding GHc25 million for defamation. The MP has, in the past week, been publishing materials in his bid to discredit the investigative journalist, who has released an explosive piece on the rot in Ghana football.

Anas last week through his lawyer, Mr Kissi Agyebeng, sued Mr Agyapong for the award of general damages for defamation in the defendant’s publications. A journalist, Mr Listowell Yesu Bukarson, has been granted the lawful attorney to stand in for Anas. But the MP says he was scared about the suit.

He reiterated his resolve to unmask Anas Aremeyaw Anas in court. The legislator said he will not accept any decision by Anas not to appear in court and will be willing to pay GHc25 million should he lose the case in court.

Mr Agyapong indicated his interest was to expose the alleged corrupt dealings of Anas and has challenged Kwesi Nyantakyi to come out and tell Ghanaians how he [Anas] demanded $150, 000 from him [Nyantakyi] so he will kill the case.
