The Ghana-Hungary Business Council has been launched in Accra by His Excellency Andras Szabo, the Hungarian ambassador.

The Business Council is to create a unique relationship between Ghana and Hungary and provide numerous business opportunities to boost the economies of both countries.

Speaking at the launch last week, His Excellency Szabo commended his government for the relentless effort to reopen the Hungarian Embassy in Ghana after 30 years.

The council was founded in September 2017 at the seventh Hungarian business forum held at Kempinski hotel, Accra with the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade as the special guest of honour.

Mr. Szabo urged the Ghanaian business community to take advantage of the council and seek for any information on business opportunities in Hungary as well as be oriented on Hungary’s viable business modules.

He stated that “the bureau has been opened to offer reliable information on where and what to invest in.”

The Ambassador noted that the next biggest task of the business council is to organize a trip for prospective companies to Hungary and tour the capital to see for themselves what Hungary has to offer.
