Hundreds of unemployed youth queue for 30 vacant security jobs

Thousands of Unemployed youth within Sekondi-Takoradi and its environs in the Western Region, turned up on Thursday to be recruited as security assistants of the Ghana Ports and Harbors Authority (GPHA)

GPHA had announced for eligible applicants to apply and come in person for selection and subsequent training at the Essipong Sports Stadium.

Ultimatefmonline.com can confidently report that about 5,000 of such applicants on the early hours of Thursday queued at the stadium to be registered in order to be shortlisted for the 30 vacant positions.

They were left at the mercy of the scorching sun for hours in view of the numbers involved with some expressing frustration over the process.
