Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the 2024 Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), made a notable appearance at the party’s headquarters on Thursday, August 28, 2025, where he officially submitted his nomination forms.

He was accompanied by a distinguished entourage, including his wife, Samira Bawumia; his 2024 running mate, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh (widely known as NAPO); former Adenta parliamentary candidate Akosua Manu; and the Member of Parliament for Takoradi, Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah, among other notable party figures.

Dr Bawumia radiated optimism as he arrived at the party headquarters, greeting the crowd with a warm smile and a confident wave.
