How Dr Kofi Oduro incured the wrath of 'anointed' Owusu Bempah, Salifu Amoako

It's been just nine days into the new year but there is already growing tension between Dr. Kofi Oduro and some renowned Ghanaian prophets including Bishop Owusu Bempah and Prophet Salifu Amoako.

The controversy was birthed when the founder and leader of Alabaster International Ministry, Prophet Kofi Oduro 'blasted' prophets who on December 31, 2019 predicted the winner for the upcoming 2020 elections at their various watch night services.

Addressing his congregation during service, prophet Dr. Oduro described the prophets as jokers who are only mocking God by using their pulpits.

Prophet Oduro added that God does not have time for NPP and NDC, hence advised Ghanaian prophets to stop their shenanigans, GhanaWeb monitored.

"That is what the church is doing now, mocking God. Looking at the 31st December prophecies, I can see that you are all jokers. God has not spoken to all Ghanaian prophets. I am telling you. Foolish prophecies...God does not think about NPP, NDC...This one says this party will in, the other also says the other party will win...You are just mocking God.

So are you telling me, you didn't see your fornications, filthy lifestyle, your corrupt leaders and their arrogance... to prophesy about but you only saw NDC and NPP? What about CPP, PPP, AGPP...enough of your shenanigans. God has not spoken to any of you. Whoever is called by God does not have time for nonsense," GhanaWeb monitored.

His comments, however, did not go down well with some of the prophets and have taken turns in various interviews to descended on the outspoken man of God.

Founder and General Overseer of Alive Chapel International, Prophet Elisha Salifu Amoako in an interview monitored by GhanaWeb, described prophet Oduro as a drunkard.

"I'm sure he drinks akpeteshie, he's a drunkard. I am sure, so he talks under the influence of alcohol."



Prophet Salifu, registering his disappointment, added that Prophet Oduro is a disgrace to his church, family, and Ghana.

"I am so disappointed in this guy. This Oduro guy is a disappointment to this generation...I used to respect him. But he has disappointed me. He is a disappointment to God, his country, his church, and his family. He is useless and I've never seen a useless man of God like this man before. Anybody who stands on the pulpit should be able to comport himself. Pulpit is what takes men from the pit. Alter is a place where divinity comes and meets humanity," he fumed.

The General Overseer of the Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah has also given an ultimatum to Prophet Oduro to come clean before his members else he will reveal his secrets.

“Anyone that says he is the only perfect man is a criminal. He is claiming that the prophets are sleeping with women and have impregnated some women in their churches. Does he know his issues that come before me? He is the one who sleeps with his church members and impregnates them,” He said.



“I am giving him 24 hours, let him [Prophet Oduro] hold oil and stand in front of his pulpit and drop it and say he has not slept with anyone apart from his wife or he has not looked at someone’s wife lustfully. How can you say we the prophets are mad, foolish and unreasonable? He didn’t mention my name, but he said all the prophets and I am a prophet so I am replying him. If he had said ‘some’ I wouldn’t have had a problem, because me I know some prophets are not correct,” He added.
