The victim, name withheld, who operates a restaurant at Lashibi, gets home at dawn daily with money.

On that fateful day and around 12:40am, the victim got home in the company of her 16-year-old daughter, carrying an amount of GH¢1,400, being sales for the day.

Immediately the houseboy opened the gate for the madam to park her vehicle, the two men, carrying a knife and a gun, stormed the house and ordered the victim to get out of the car.

They took the daily sales of the victim from her and marched her together with the daughter and houseboy to the room of the woman to search for more money.

When they found none, the suspects severely beat up the victim and the daughter, asking them to bring out the rest of the money that they were hiding.

The victim, who had no money on her then, gave out her laptop to the suspects to sell instead.

The armed men got infuriated and destroyed the laptop in the process with their knife.

They later left the house with the GH¢1,400, together with a screen touch mobile phone belonging to the victim’s daughter.

Police investigations led to the arrest of the two suspected armed robbers at Tsui-Bleoo near Teshie when they attempted to sell the phone to a prospective buyer.

The victim, together with the daughter, later identified the two suspects during an identification parade.

Upon interrogation, the two mentioned the name of the houseboy as an accomplice who fed them with the information to rob the victim.
