Hon Pius Opoku donates learning materials to schools in Tano North

The National Democratic Party Candidate for the Tano North Constituency, Honourable Pius Opoku has donated teaching and learning materials to pupils in the constituency.

The items, including several books and other learning materials, were presented to several schools and pupils in the constituency and was marked with a ceremony at Susuanso.

Speaking at the ceremony, the chief of Susuanso, Nana Antwi Tabiri opined that, most of the pupils in the community have either dropped out of school or reluctant to attend classes because their parents cannot afford to buy books and other learning materials.

The chief thanked the Honourable Pius and his team and encouraged them to do more to uplift the status of education in the constituency.

On his part, the Parliamentary candidate for the 2020 elections promises to help the community to change its debilitating state which has rendered education, roads and other amenities in bad shape.
