President J.A. Kufuor between January 2001 and December 31, 2006, hired and fired 42 Ministers of State.

“Records from the Daily Dispatch Research Department indicate that of the 42, only six have been 'politically' rehabilitated, re-appointed to other Ministerial or diplomatic positions”.

This is a list of ‘hired and fired’ ministers with their last known positions.

They are Mr. Kwadwo Adjei Donkor; Alhaji Mustapha Idris; Mr. Rashid Bawa; Mr. Mogtari Sahanun; Mr. Adjei-Duffour and Mr. Andrews Awuni. They have either been appointed to other Ministerial or diplomatic positions.
