A final year student of the Sobriya Islamic Junior High School (JHS) in Koblimahigu, a suburb of the Metropolis Tamale has been stabbed in his chest, MyNewsGh.com can report.

The victim was attempting to save a lady colleague who was being abused by one by Abrezia, a student of AME Zion JHS and his accomplice, Naa Salaam during inter-schools sporting activities organised by Ghana Education Service (GES).

Narrating his ordeal to drumbeatsgh.com that first reported the story, Musah Mohammed said: “They wanted to beat up a girl from my school but I warned them I will report them to the masters if they do, they left the girl and said they will deal with me when the games are over.”

“They stopped me on my way home around GHANASCO volley’ball court and before I realized, Naa Salaam held my hands backward and Abrezia stabbed me severally on my chest with a butchers knife,” he continued.

Mr MahamiIbrahim, Headmaster of Sobriya Islamic JHS confirmed the incident though he disclosed they are yet to lodge a complaint with the police.

“I, together with other sports masters were still on the field after the games when I got the information that one of my students had been stabbed by a colleague from AME Zion JHS. I had to rush to the Central Hospital where he was sent, to see things for myself,” he stated.
