Hearts of Oak secure 2-0 victory over Inter Allies

Two goals from Robert Addo Sowah and Joseph Esso, sealed victory for Accra Hearts of Oak in match day seven of the Ghana Football Association Normalisation Special Competition, as they beat Inter Allies at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday.

Sowah opened the scores in the 59th minute after Saed Salifu in post for Inter Allies, was shown a straight red card for handling the ball outside the 18-yard box.

Inter Allies upped their game in search of an equaliser with the introduction of Aryee Clement, but all attempts proved futile, as goal begging chances were squandered by the Tema based club.

Coach Kim Grant of Hearts introduced Daniel Kodie, Kofi Kordzi to pile more pressure on Inter Allies for a second goal to seal all three points.

But it was striker Joseph Esso who rose to the occasion with a superb finish in the 89th minute.
Inter Allies pushed more men forward for a consolation goal, but to no avail.
