Mr. Mark D. Noonan, Chief Executive of Accra Hearts of Oak has confirmed that the club has sacked four for non performance.

The players; Evans Quao, Theophilus Jackson, Joshua Otoo, and Cosmos Dauda, were last week given the sack by the club for non performance.

Mr. Noonan made the affirmation on his official twitter handle with the statement; “I can confirm we have given four players, E. Quao, T. Jackson, J. Otoo and C. Dauda, permission to seek opportunities outside of Hearts.”

The statement continues, “They are good men and professionals. With the window open we felt it is best to communicate our plans with them directly and transparently”.

With the four players spending much time on the bench as substitutes, who are most often not called to action, it was only a matter of time that this would happen.

The four would be looking to continue their careers elsewhere, but are most likely to make appearances in the Ghana Premier League, as most other GPL clubs could use their services.
