Healing includes forgiveness of sins – Agyinasare

Founder and head pastor of Perez Chapel International, Charles Agyinasare, has said forgiveness of sins by God is a spontaneous fragment of the healing process.

Speaking at the Festival of Miracles at the Independence Square in Accra, the Presiding Bishop of Perez Chapel explained that the crucifixion of Jesus on the cross was for man to become the righteousness of God is what automates restoration of health and a sound mind.

Quoting the Good Book he said, “The Bible says Himself took our sin upon Himself that we will become the righteousness of God. And in the place where he took our sin so that our lives can be transformed in that same place. The Bible says and by His stripes, we were healed.”

To buttress assertions by the Christian fraternity that the death of Jesus was part of a divine plan to save humanity, the renowned man of God said: “where God forgives our sins, in that same place he heals our sick body”.

Agyinasare also talked about Christians who do not attend Church but wait until the last day of the year to make resolutions. According to him, these resolutions do not last because they cannot save themselves but need Jesus- to which he lead the audience to the altar call.

“Every 31st December you make New Year resolutions, by the third and fourth of January you have broken them. I have good news for you, it is because you cannot save yourself. Tonight Jesus will save you,” the man of God said to his congregation.

The Festival of Miracles is to mark Bishop Charles Agyinasare’s 35th-year in ministry. The Chancellor of Perez University College at the launch of the event said he was optimistic that many who were believing God for a miracle will receive same at the event.

The four-day-event ends on Friday, February 2, 2018.
