Haruna Iddrisu Under fire

Disgruntled residents of Kotingli, a suburb of the Tamale Metropolis, in the Tamale South constituency, are peeved at their darling boy, Hon Haruna Idrissu for woefully failing to fulfill his promise made to the community and its environs.

Residents of community, at the weekend, storm the streets of Kotingli to register their displeasure at and disappointment with what they described as deceit by the MP. The residents destroyed all billboards mounted by the MP in the community.

Led by their Chairman, Seidu Lansah, the disgruntled youth claimed the MP made a promise to them during the 2008 electioneering year, to hook the community to the national grid when given the nod, but since he was elected, he has never stepped foot on the soil of Kotingli.

The youth of the community however vowed to assault the Member of Parliament when he makes a move to come into the community for politics.

The Secretary of the disgruntled NDC youth, Alhassan Braimah, indicated that they were better-off during the NPP era eventhough they had voted against them (NPP) in 2008 and had hoped that Hon Haruna Iddrisu will be their messiah.

Though the group insist they still have the NDC at heart, they vowed not to meet with the Tamale South Constituency MP for any reconciliation talks.
