Hannah Bissiw Fights Parliament security

Security personnel in Parliament were yesterday astonished when Deputy Minister of Water Resource, Works and Housing, Dr. Hannah Bissiw snubbed them when they decided to take her through security scanners as is the custom in Parliament.

When the security personnel politely asked her to put her bag through the scanners, she rubbished them to their uttermost disbelief and walked over them.

Her exhibition of gross arrogance and disregard for them was to remind them that she is the “all powerful” Hannah Bissiw.

This incident occurred in the full glare of many other parliamentary staff and some journalists who looked at her in total disbelieve.

The deputy minister has for sometime now been frequent in the legislative assembly to facilitate the conduct of some government business hence came to Parliament yesterday on one of such errand.

If the late President were alive, he would have been dismayed at the conduct of his appointee for failing to subject herself to security checks even though he did so without issue.

Because members have consistently complained about the security of the house, the security post has taken it up to check every visitor who enters the main block through its scanners, but it so appears that, Hannah Bissiw, who is seeking the mandate of the people of Tano South as their MP does not share in this development.
