Guests for breakfast meeting to park vehicles at State House

Accra, July 10, GNA - All persons invited to the Breakfast meeting with the President, John Atta Mills and his guest President Barack Obama of the United States at the Osu Castle are to park their vehicles at the forecourt of Parliament House.

These include members of the diplomatic corps, Council of State and Ministers of State, an official statement signed by Mr Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Deputy Minister of Information said in Accra on Friday. The statement said all invitees would be transported to and from the Osu Castle.

It said buses will depart the forecourt of Parliament House between 7am and 8am.

The statement said parking for the Accra International Conference Centre programme where President Obama will address Parliament had also been reserved at the forecourt of Parliament House. All invited persons are to take note.

It reminded accredited media personnel to confirm the departure times of their respective pool buses from the Ministry of Information at the designated times.

The statement also announced that there would be a large screen viewing of President Obama's address in the main auditorium of the National Theatre.

"Interested members of the public are encouraged to watch the proceedings there where there would be memorable excitement," it said. 10 July 09
