Mr Dzamesi told the GNA that several development projects had been completed with others in the process of completion in various parts of the Region.

Mr Dzamesi said besides the projects, all Government interventions to raise the living standards of the people were being pursued actively in the Districts. He said a Secretariat of the Government Micro-Finance Project, under which budding businesses would be supported with low interest credits to expand, would soon be opened at Ho.

Mr Dzamesi said this was the biggest challenge to the private sector in the Region, which had complained of lack of credit facilities for a long time but cautioned that only people with viable projects would have access to the loans.
