Gov't Sells "Coat of Arms" To Fillipinos

According to the Ghanaian voice, in our blind obsession for money at all cost, the government forgot or at best refused to remove our “Coat of Arms” on the entrance of the Ghana Ambassador’s residence before it was sold to its new Fillipino occupants.

The paper’s investigations revealed that, the Coat of Arms of Ghana was sold to the Fillipinos because it formed part of the status of “what it is and where it is basis”.

The Ghanaian voice questions how the government uses the developments of the PNDC/NDC to showcase Ghana and yet continue to lambast the previous regime all the time.

The question follows an address by Hon. Asaga, in which he pointed out that, a publication by a Guardian Magazine entitled GHANA, the Star of Africa, listed a number of developments, which have turned the country into an African showpiece and hence must be used as a basis of attracting foreign investments.

This, according to the paper, indicates that inwardly, President Kufuor and his people do recognize the tremendous contributions which have been made by the PNDC/NDC.

The paper also wants to know if the government is saying that all these developments which they are showcasing outside are the result of their twenty-one months in office.
