The Minister of Local Government and Rural Development Kwadwo Adjei Darko says that the government would always be guided by equity and social justice in developing the nation.

He said the NPP administration would not be discriminatory in the identification and location of social and infrastructural projects but would strike to distribute the national cake fairly.

This he said during separate interactions with Nananom of Duayaw Nkwanta and Kukuom to brief them on the latest of the creation of new districts.

The Minster said the notion that the creation of new districts is political motivated is wrong.

According to the minister it will be ironical for people to think the creation of the districts is biased towards areas considered to be the political stronghold of the ruling government.
