Gideon Baah, Duncan in Ghana’s squad against Canada

Ghana coach Avram Grant has released an 18-man squad to face Canada in an international friendly in Washington Tuesday.

Four debutants surfaced on the roster: USA-based midfield duo of Llyod Sam and Kwadwo Poku, Germany-based defender Phil Ofosu-Ayeh and Finland-based former Kotoko defender Gideon Baah.

Sassuolo midfielder Alfred Duncan gets another chance to impress in the Black Stars after the Italy-based enforcer had a previous stint with the national team.

The squad is dominated by regular Black Stars players like goalkeeper Razak Brimah, John Boye and Leicester City left-back Jeff Schlupp.

Italy-based midfielders Agyemang Badu and Afriyie Acquah as well as Mubarak Wakaso.

Aston Villa striker Jordan Ayew and Abdul Majeed Waris and David Accam were also named by Avram Grant.

The Black Stars will take on Canada at the RFK Stadium in Washington DC.

The match will kick off on Tuesday at 7:30pm
