The Command Chalk of United Nations Assistance Mission in Sierra Leone (UNAMSIL) Ghanbatt 6 leaves Ghana today, Wednesday 11 September for peace- keeping operation in Sierra Leone.

An official statement from the Ghana Armed Forces said the troops, under the command of Lieutenant Colonel J. B. E. Guyiri will be away for about six months.
