Prophet Nazareth Ansah Jamson, the General Overseer of Israel King of Jews Church, has called on Ghanaians to demonstrate a high level of tolerance to ensure that peace prevailed in the country.

He said the situation where some politicians were at each other’s throat whenever they mounted platforms did not augur well for the country’s democracy.

Prophet Jamson made the call at the celebration of this year’s Pass Over of the church at Dome in Accra.

It was to commemorate how the Jews were spared from the plagues and other painful experiences through the manifestation of God’s power through Moses before King Pharaoh of Egypt.

He urged Ghanaians to go on their knees and pray for peaceful elections adding; “this is the time we should go on our knees and pray very hard and I have the belief that the elections would be peaceful.”

Prophet Jamson appealed to religious leaders to desist from all forms of negative tendencies that may bring the name of the clergy into disrepute.
