Popular Ghanaian Broadcast journalist Paul Adom-Otchere has alleged that some Ghanaians are scheming to destroy Zoomlion Ghana Limited so that the business of sanitation could be given to foreigners.

The host of Good Evening Ghana on Metro TV used his editorial segment on the show last week monitored by MyNewsGh.com to accuse some Ghanaians of seeking to give the business of sanitation to foreigners for no tangible reason.

“Zoomlion controls sanitation in Ghana. And there are people who want that to be given to foreigners,” he revealed.

Mr. Adom-Otchere was speaking in support of what people think is the wanton destruction of Ghanaian businesses by Ghanaian governments for no good reason either than the fact that the owners are fellow Ghanaians.

Zoomlion Ghana Limited has been in the news over allegations of dubious contracts with government or nondelivery of goods and services for which it has been paid. The investigations have mainly been done by investigative journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni.

For Mr. Adom-Otchere the scheme to destroy Mr. Joseph Siaw Agyapong’s Zoomlion Ghana Limited and handover his business model to foreigners will not beneficial to Ghana because of capital flight and the charitable work Mr. Agyapong is doing for the country.

He cited the construction of the Institute of Sanitation and Waste Management building at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology ( KNUST) as one of his contributions to Ghana which no foreigner will do.

Mr. Adom-Otchere was livid at the rate of destruction of Ghanaian businesses following the revocation of licenses of many financial institutions as part of a financial sector clean up embarked upon by the Bank of Ghana.
