Ghanaians have never regretted change - Commey

Mr Lord Nii Oblitey Commey, National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), said Ghanaians were enjoying benefits of voting the NPP into power.

He said, "the air of freedom blowing across the country" attested to that.

A statement the Party issued said Mr Commey was speaking at Dadease in the Kumawu Constituency at the launch of an NPP campaign for the bye-election.

He urged people of Drobonso and the entire Kumawu constituency to vote for the party's candidate, Mr Yaw Baah in the October 1st bye-election. Mr Isaiah Opoku Boateng, District Chief Executive of Sekyere East, promised the people new roads and said they should not believe the opposition propaganda that the NPP would expel people living in Zongos.

Mr Baah said Drobonsoman was underdeveloped for the 20 years of the Rawlings era although it was the gateway to the Sekyere District.

He said he would continue with the good works of the former Member of Parliament, Mrlate R. A Basoah and said the NPP would not renege on its promise to improve upon the socio-economic lives of Ghanaians.

He addressed similar rallies at Dagomba and Mamaprusi settlements.
