Founder of the defunct United Renaissance Party (URP), Chuck Kofi Wayo has said Ghanaians are naturally born liars, for which reason most of them especially the politicians are allergic to the truth.

He observed that though insincerity is not in the Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) of the Ghanaian, it is just part of the culture to see most Ghanaians peddling falsehood.

In an exclusive interview with MyNewsGH.com’s Managing Editor, the controversial politician said he recently found out that literally, everyone is now a liar.

“I found out that they are liars after dealing with both political parties. It is the culture though it is not their DNA but we are not sincere people and that is the culture. We have no ideology, we have no philosophy and the politicians have left the people to suffer so I go to the villages to help the people”, he disclosed.

The maverick politician said Ghanaians are retrogressing at a progressive rate because most persons are now interested in money and not the welfare of the ordinary citizenry who vote for them while the politicians enjoy all the good things.

“The problem I found is that everyone just wants free money to chop. If you don’t give them money they say this guy doesn’t have money.” He said.

“So me, I’m going to the rural people. I am talking to them. I want to help them.” He told MYNEWSGH.com.

“I am here to give money to people who can work. My money is for the villagers”, he added.

He indicated that it is therefore not surprising that the politician goes about allegedly spewing propaganda and yet receives the praise of some Ghanaians as knowledgeable persons.

According to Kofi Wayo, whatever the politicians say is nothing but lies because they know Ghanaians themselves do not know the truth and are not willing to unearth the truth to their own benefit.

“You don’t ask the good questions and they know that you [Ghanaians] are ignorant so they go ahead to lie and you praise them for lying to you because Ghanaians enjoy listening to lies”, he said.
