Osei Kofi Stephen, a young man from Boahu Brofoyedru, is appealing to the public to help him reverse a curse he and his partner, with whom he has two children, invoked on themselves.

According to Stephen, his troubles began following misunderstandings with his girlfriend, Fosuwaa, during her pregnancy with their third child.

Speaking in an interview on Sompa Nkomo, a programme that addresses domestic issues and is hosted by Ghanaian media personality Oheneni Adazoa, Stephen recounted that he began suspecting his girlfriend after she started a food business and began receiving strange phone calls at night, which she often refused to answer.

He further explained that Fosuwaa later informed him she was travelling to visit her sister. While there, she told him she was pregnant.

“She said she was going to visit her sister but later told me she was pregnant while she was there. I questioned how that could be and asked her to come back so we could talk.

“When she returned, her stomach was already big, so I doubted I was responsible for the pregnancy. That led to serious issues between us and we stopped speaking,” he said.

Stephen disclosed that at one point, he faced financial difficulties and took five cedis belonging to Fosuwaa to buy food, which reportedly angered her and led her to place a curse on him.

He said their families later intervened in an attempt to reverse the curse but he believes the efforts were unsuccessful.

Stephen added that during a subsequent argument, he also cursed Fosuwaa, insisting that if the pregnancy was not his, she should die during childbirth.

“I also cursed her with the Bible and water, saying that if she goes into labour, both she and the child should die,” he admitted.

He now claims to be suffering the consequences of these curses and says his condition has been worsening.

According to him, they later sought spiritual intervention and were told that Fosuwaa’s initial curse could not be reversed and that the child is indeed his. He added that his own curse against her is now affecting him as well.

Stephen said they subsequently visited the Antoa Shrine, where they were instructed to provide GH¢6,000 to perform rituals to reverse the curse.

He is therefore appealing to the public to help resolve the situation.
