Delegations from the Ghana statistical Service have left for Denmark on a 6-day trip to exchange knowledge and explore best practices in statistics management.

At a brief pre-departure meeting, the Danish Ambassador to Ghana, her Excellency Tove Degnbol, expressed optimism that the trip will afford the delegates the opportunity to gather experience from Statistics Denmark to maximize the use of administrative data for the purpose of national development.

On his part, the Government statistician, Professor Kobina Annim, explained that strategic partnership with Denmark have facilitated the reliance on administrative sources of date to compliment the use of surveys and censuses hence ensuring the production of more accurate key.
