Ghanaian Times: 2 incompetent contrators sacked

In story from Takoradi, the TImes says that the contracts of two contractors working on the 3.4 billion cedis Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) housing project at Anaji, a suburb of Takoradi, have been termionated for unsatisfactory works and for falling behind schedule. Theirnames have been withheld. This was disclosed to the 'Times' by the acting Western regional manager of SSNIT, Mrs Stella Wricketts, during an inspection of the 102 flats at Anaji on Friday. The inspection was rto enable SSNIT officials to assess the extent of work done by the contractors. Mrs Wricketts said the project, started last year, was expected to be completed early this year.
