Ghanaian Canadian Association hosts trade mission from Ghana

The hard work of the new Executives of the Ghanaian Canadian Association of Ontario (GCAO) is being realized by the Toronto Ghanaian Community during their first year in office.

After the launching of the Ghanaian Canadian Chamber of Commerce (GCCC) and Diaspora Engagement Think Tank (DETT) in Toronto in July, this year, the GCAO, in collaboration with Ghana Investment Promotion Council (GIPC), Canada-Ghana Chamber of Commerce – Accra and its newly outdoored Ghanaian Canadian Chamber of Commerce (GCCC) / Diaspora Engagement Think Tank (DETT) and the Ghana Mission are hosting a Trade Mission from Ghana from October 14th to October 21st.

A team of 20 businessmen/women and companies from Ghana and Canada will attend to partner with or network with.

These are the highlights of the events:

1. October 14th – There is a Business and Networking Forum being hosted at Marriot Hotel starting 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. That is the place you want to network with businesses and promote your next move in business or service to the community. It is going to be great. There is a token fee of $50.00. There is an opportunity to register on the spot to be a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Think Tank. An exciting time for our community. Do not miss this great opportunity!!

2. There will be tours to Toronto Stock Exchange, Africa Chamber of Commerce events, Toronto Board of Trade, visits to Ottawa and Montreal

The 20 member Trade Mission is made up of Shipping and Logistics, Information, Communication and Technology (ICT), Renewable Energy, Agro Business, Hospitality, Exports and Imports, Construction, Consulting and Business Partnerships.
