Producer at Starr fm, Caleb Nii Boye has questioned the prowess of sensational artistes R2bees with regards to their performance on stage. He actually is seeking to find out when the duo intends to give patrons a mouth-watering performance.

According to him, it’s been 11 years since they served Ghana with two major singles; ‘Yawa girl and I dey mad’. He went on to add that ever since they entered the music industry they have been praised for releasing bangers which still sounds fresh when played today and yet their performances during big shows are nothing to write home about.

Caleb expressed his disappointment by saying "You should be returning half of the fees Empire Entertainment Paid you for Ghana Meet Naija last night because your performance had moved on bad to worse."

When will R2BEES give patrons mouth-watering performance?

It’s been 11years since you served Ghana with 2 major singles ( Yawa Girl & I dey Mad).

As a secondary school boy at Accra Academy who wanted to explore and get the other side of Ghana Music, myself and my colleague, Prince Bruce Adotei who was the leader of the Tema Caucus at Halm Addo Hall, embraced these songs and shared it widely via Bluetooth so as to get to ordinary Ghanaian with a phone.

Ever since you entered the music industry you have been praised for releasing bangers which still sounds fresh when played today, thanks to the production by your in house engineer Killbeatz, KAYWA etc.

What hasn’t been fresh about you guys is the way you always put Audience at a certain level when you are introduced and how u try so hard to get them back into their seats and watch you like *statues* whilst you roam all over the stage till you finally get tired of yourself and leave.

Why do you always take the audience for granted? Why do you always make them feel, they want to listen to you in their homes and on their phones only than watch you perform.

Your stage craft seems to be the only thing lacking in your team and it doesn’t look like it’s going to change since you guys have decided not to work on it and even asked how a group made up of a dancehall and hip hop artiste be expected to be jumping all over the place.

You have once said in 2013 that you are musicians not dancers, but you see this should not be the reason to be boring on stage and act as if nothing is at hand.

You should be returning half of the fees Empire Entertainment Paid you for Ghana Meets Naija last night because your performance had moved on bad to worse.

At a point one could see that Paedae was angry and wasn’t happy anytime he goes back stage and returns, but who cares, you have been paid to entertain, people had paid to come entertain themselves so you should do that just like other artistes billed on the show.

It is shocking that after taking inspiration from Obrafour, Reggie Rockstone,Daddy Lumba etc to do music, u refused to take lessons from them when performing.

You refuse to be Broke as a group and we( audience) refuse to be bored when you are performing.
