The problem of Ghana is that everyone is on the lookout for an avenue to make free money at the least chance without doing any work for it.

This, has led to a culture of entitlement and laziness where Ghanaians are lazy and lie all over the place.

This is according to maverick politician and founder of the United Renaissance Party (URP) Charles Kofi Wayo.

In an exclusive interview with MYNEWSGH.com, Kofi Wayo revealed that all this has served to dampen his spirit about the type of politics being practised in Ghana.

He says as a result of this, he is concentrating his attention on helping rural folks who need help most.

“The problem I found is that everyone just wants free money to chop. If you don’t give them money they say this guy doesn’t have money.” He said.

“So me, I’m going to the rural people. I am talking to them. I want to help them.” He told MYNEWSGH.com.

“I am here to give money to people who can work. My money is for the villagers”, he added.

He said he wants to help build Ghana from “the ground up”, by helping the development of the rural communities through his philanthropy.

He commended the over-politicization of issues in Ghana on the lines NPP and NDC which is creeping into the life of the village folks who hitherto have been known to be aloof from it.

He sighted an example of a village friend who refused to allow a doctor to attend to him because of the doctor was NDC and could kill him by giving him the wrong drugs because of their cantankerous political difference.

Mr Kofi Wayo said he thought he has given up on the politics of Ghana, he will continue to work to impact the lives of the villagers.
