Ghana's reps at the International Economics Olympiad Ghana's reps at the International Economics Olympiad

Ghana, the only African country to represent at the International Economics Olympiad won a bronze medal at the prestigious event held in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Nyamebofour Afrakoma Otoo (DPS International) won the bronze medal for Ghana placing in the top quarter in Financial Literacy, Pure Economics and Business Presentations.

Three other reps from Ghana, Jean Joel Ocran (Presec-Legon) , Clive Andoh Dontoh(DPS International) and Maame Adu Asare(Christian High) placed in the top half in one or more of the Individual events.

For her prize, Afrakoma aside a medal and certificate wins a full scholarship to the the dual economics program at the Hse Moscow and the London School
of Economics.

ASO Foundation in partnership with The Sharks Quiz prepared the Ghana Team for the competition.
