Ghana is on the move to industrialisation –Hon Kofi Buah

The deputy minister of energy Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah says though a lot of
countries and companies have expressed interest in Ghana’s oil, his ministry
will ensure the protection of the National interest when deciding on the
companies to invest in the oil sector.

He said the rules of the game will not be bent to favour any company, but rather
will see to it that the oil revenue will foster industrialisation. In an
interview with Radio Gold the deputy minister of energy in charge of petroleum,
Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah assured potential investors to be assured of a
congenial and safe business environment.
Emmanuel armah Kofi Buah said he is optimistic that the oil revenue will move
Ghana into becoming a middle income status shortly. Change the lives of the
people via Job creation, infrastructural development, and build a strong, viable
and reliable economy. ‘’in some few years to come with the prudent management of
the oil resources Ghana will no more be a third world, but an emerging economy’’
Buah said.

He said, ‘’ the oil revenue will ensure industrial growth especially in the
Western Region’’ the will oil give real hope to the people in the communities
around the catchment area. Hon. Buah stated.

On measures to ensure the oil brings relief and hope to Ghanaians and especially
those in the Western region, he said ‘’ the chiefs and people of the region
knows what is about to happen and had warned all trouble makers to stay of or be
dealt with drastically by the people’’

‘’Ghana is not marching backwards and with the oil find, this country will be
the place to be’’ Hon. Buah said
