Rev. Dr. E. Victor Acquaah-Harrison was appointed recently by the Bishop of New York Annual conference to be the new Pastor of the Ghana United Methodist Church, Bronx, NY.
On Sunday; October 15, he was officially introduced to the congregation as the new Pastor of Ghana United Methodist Church. The welcome remarks was read by Mr. John Kusi, PPR.
Rev. Dr. Acquaah-Harrison was overcomed with emotions as tears of joy filled his eyes. Among the special invited guests attending the occasion were; Rev. J. O. Dr. Johnny Johnson - Pastor, Westchester United Methodist Church, Rev. Grainville Forde - Pastor, Tremont United Methodist Church, Rev. John Ansah-Arkoful - Pastor, United Methodist Church, NJ, Rev. Esther Amartey-Armah - Pastor, S. Ozone Pk. United Methodist Church, Queens, Rev. Acheampong - Member, Ghana United Methodist Church, Rev. J. Ansah - Pastor, Church of Pentecost, Ghana, Rev. Mettle - Pastor, Church of Pentecost, Ghana, Mr. Ebenezer Dei - Elder, Church of Pentecost, Ghana, Ghana Presbyterian Church, New York and Mrs Lucy Frimpong-Manso, wife of Moderator, Presbyterian Church of Ghana.
The invited guests one after the other offered their welcome remarks to the new pastor; Rev. Dr. E. Victor Acquaah-Harrison. He was accompanied by his wife and son. Music was provided by the The Church Singing Band, The Church Choir led by its Choirmaster, Osei Asibey and of course on Keyboard was the world renowned, composer, instrumentalist and the Ghana Methodist Church's finest; Bright Amankwah.(Check out his amazing CD)
