Ghana U20 to leave for Ethiopia today

Ghana U20 male team will leave Ghana for Ethiopia on Thursday afternoon for the first leg of their 2017 African Youth Championship qualifier with their Ethiopian counterparts.

Coach Masud Didi Dramani and his boys have been preparing for the game which will be played on Sunday in Addis Ababa.

The Black Satellites last international friendly they played ahead of the qualifier was against Namibia which they won 4-0 at the Ghanaman Soccer of Excellence in Prampram.

The bad news for Didi Dramani is that influential player Benjamin Bature will not travel with the team following his injury whiles training for his club side Medeama SC.

Ghana have been to the last four editions of the African Youth Championships.

The team finished third at the last edition of the tournament which was hosted by Senegal in 2015.
