Ghana Shippers Authority donates to Tema General Hospital

The Ghana Shippers’ Authority (GSA) on Wednesday donated 100 pieces of bed sheets and pillow cases to the Tema General Hospital (TGH).

Mrs Monica Josiah, Tema Branch Manager, GSA, also responsible for Volta and Eastern Regions, presenting the items, said as a responsible corporate organization, the GSA share the goals and ambitions of the hospital which is caring for the sick.

According to her, the cotton sheets would offer relative comfort to users as they healed.

Madam Janet Afia Antwi, Head of Nursing, TGH, thanked the Ghana Shippers’ Authority, for the donation “which was very much needed”.

She said “even from tomorrow, we will start distributing them” and called on other companies and individuals to help the hospital deliver on its mandate.
