The Chief Executives Network Ghana, organizers of Ghana CEO Summit acknowledges the measures announced by President Nana Akufo-Addo on Sunday, March 15, 2020, to help curtail the spread of COVID – 19 viral infections in Ghana.

As an organization that is committed to the wellbeing of citizens, we fully support all efforts and interventions by the World Health Organization, Government of Ghana and other stakeholders to ensure that we overcome the challenge that this virus poses.

Accordingly, we shall continue to keep track of developments while we continue to prepare towards the 5th Ghana CEO Summit, which is scheduled to be held on 18th and 19th May, 2020 at Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City in Accra. In due course, if the situation requires that we reschedule the Summit in the interest of public health, we shall not hesitate to do that.

We urge all to continue to stay safe by enforcing the recommended protocols for stopping the spread of the virus – wash hands with soap under running water often, minimize or avoid physical contact, maintain a distance of at least 1 meter when interacting with others, stay away from crowded places and sanitize your hands as often as possible.

To support the fight against the spread of the virus, the Ghana CEO Summit is rolling out a campaign dubbed “CEO COVID-19: STOP THE SPREAD” by leading boldly. Using the hashtags #CEOLeadBoldly and #CEOStopTheSpread, a coalition of over 200 CEOs and leaders is asking fellow business and civic leaders in Ghana to lead boldly and help stop the spread.

The Ghana CEO Summit is the foremost business conference in Ghana for CEOs, Heads of State, Policy Makers, Investors & Business Leaders. It is committed to unlocking Ghana’s economic potential by championing private-sector-led growth, leading discussions around innovative public policies and best growth-oriented business practices.
