George Andah supplies basic schools in Awutu Senya West with educational materials

MP for Awutu Senya West, Nenyi George Andah, who was recognized as the best MP by Ghana Leadership Awards for 2018 continues to work for the people of Awutu Senya West.

On Monday 11th February 2019, the MP renewed his commitment to Education in his constituency, with the supply of educational materials to 3 basic schools.

This comes after the MP donated Cylinders, Refrigerators, Sewing machines, Blenders and more to the Bawjiase and Obrachire Senior High Technical School.

The book supplies were in partnership with Scribble Works Publishing House and aimed to support the teaching and learning of mathematics.

The beneficiary schools included Awutu D/A Basic School, Mother Theresa School for Girls - Senya, and St. Peters Catholic school - Awutu.

Speaking at the different venues, Hon. Andah assured the excited parents, teachers and pupils of his commitment to ensuring that the children of Awutu Senya West can enjoy Free SHS in their first choice schools. He pledged to assist them prepare for their Basic Education Certificate Exam, in order to make this aim a reality.

Speaking during the handover, the District Education Director Mr. Arhin lauded the MP for his warm relationship with the Directorate, as he pointed out the improvements with the districts BECE scores since the MP took power.

Pupils from beneficiary schools couldn't hide their excitement, as they welcomed the new workbooks. Giving the vote of thanks, a pupil at the St. Peter's Catholic School, thanked the MP for the benevolent actions.
