George Afriyie will be the ideal replacement for Nyantakyi - New Edubease CEO

Goerge to takeover from his boss Goerge to takeover from his boss

Bankroller of New Edubiase, Abdul Salam Yakubu, has revealed that vice President of the Ghana Football Association(GFA) George Afriyie will be the right person to take over from current President Kwesi Nyantakyi.
Due to Nyantakyi’s position as CAF Executive Committee Member and FIFA Executive Council member it is believed he will not be going for re-election.

“If Kwesi decides to leave, he will be the one to take over from him. If anybody else has a different candidate they should bring him or her on board,” Salam told Happy FM.

“But for us he is our preferred choice as the next president”. Salam noted.

After Ghana’s inability to win the 2017 African Cup of Nations, a lot people have called on Nyantakyi to resigned from his position as Ghana FA president.

But according to Salam those people must wait for congress to decide.

“Some of the people who are making noise are not able to get people to endorse their candidature.”
