The Asokwa District Court in Kumasi has remanded the four teenagers accused of raping a lady weeks ago into police custody for the third time.

This is the second time the suspected rapists appeared in court for the case to be heard.

Counsel for the teenagers, John Boamah, said he would not rush into seeking bail for clients.

He, however, expressed worry about how the media is discussing the issue accusing them of being unfair.

The suspects would reappear in court on January 10, 2018.

The four were among seven teenagers who were seen in a video gang-raping another teenager at Bantama in Kumasi.

The police are also on the heels of the other teenagers whose identities are known but have gone into hiding.

The seven suspects attend either Senior High or Junior High Schools at Bantama.

Their names and those of their schools are being withheld for security reasons.
