GSE Index in modest gain

Accra, Sept 1, GNA - The GSE-All Share Index, the benchmark index of the Accra bourse, went up by a modest 3.7 points on Wednesday to close at 7,320.01 points.

Traded volumes closed at 248,600 shares while change to date now stands at 106.00 per cent.

On the broader market, BOPP the only agro-based equity on the bourse, made 200 cedis at 5,800 cedis, Enterprise Insurance gained 500 cedis at 5,600 cedis and Patterson Zochonis (PZ) went up two cedis at 4,502 cedis.

Market capitalisation stood at 97,951.43 billion cedis.
