GPL debut delight for six Dreams FC lads

Six players made their Premier League bow on Sunday when Dreams FC beat Elmina Sharks in the opening day of the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League season.

Abdul Razak Cromwell, Masahudu Abdallah, Issah Yakubu, Cletus Nombil, Kwadwo Asamoah and Zuberu Sharani all had their first taste of the Ghana Premier League and it was to be a delightful one as fellow debutant, Zuberu Sharani’s late strike was enough to secure all three points.

Despite being their debut, these players refused to let the occasion overwhelm them as they punched above their weight to produce a good performance for the team.

All the debutants with the exception of Sharani, joined the club in the off season. Goalscorer Sharani is a product of the club’s youth system.
